The heavy rains, the gloomy sky, the fierce storms. Well, September, it's that time again. My country, especially the Central region, is full of water (of floods and tears). I don't hate rain (I played under rain much in past) but being stuck about two or three hours in a traffic jam after rain is such a pain in the ass. Even looking up at the beautiful violet sunset sky can't compensate for that annoyance.
The best songs of last month come from July and August. Don't be surprised at the time. AGM September means "the best new anime/game songs I find in September" not "the best anime/game songs released in September" and if you still don't understand, let's speak frankly that some singles/albums are not available online until days, weeks or even months after its released day. I always want to make the released month match with the month of the post. That's the reason why I postpone the monthly post until the mid of every month, but sometimes it's still useless as you see.
Well, it's too much for an explanation, but I hope that I will never need to talk about that again. Now, for AGM last month, it's really much better comparing with last month's one. And the main reason is the old-but-awesome music, from Animeja album, hope you're not bored with them. Most of the vids are unavailable due to copyright so I've made a crossfade for this month's AGM. Sounds interesting, right?
1. Meja - Teru no Uta- Tales from Earthsea insert song(cover)

So, the winner is a cover anime song. This is the second time this thing happens (first at AGM June 09). Just like the case of Yuzurenai negai, I have no interest in the origin version even as a PG (frankly speaking, it sounds boring), but this version really touches me. So, what's the difference? Maybe it's the voice, the arrangement, the performance or all.
2. Hanazawa Kana - Gentle Twilight- STEINS;Gate Audio Series Laboratory Member 002 Mayuri Shiina
- Released Date: August 25, 2010
- Rating:★★★★★★★★★★

Well, it's her again! If last year is of Mizuki Nana then this must be Hanazawa Kana's. In my opinion, this song is even better than Ashita Kuru Hi. The title says it all: a gentle and romantic song. That, plus Hanazawa Kana's soft voice makes a super soothing song. A relaxation for ears and mind.
3. Meja - Always with me- OST: Spirited Away
- Released Date: July 21, 2010
- Rating:★★★★★★★★★★

Is the music sounds familiar? Well this song in fact is the vocal version of a famous Ghibli anime soundtrack. There is another song like this in Animeja album (Carrying you aka Kimi wo Nosete). It's also good but too classic that I can't put here. This song is way lighter and prettier, one I can listen many times without being bored.
4. MOMO - Cherish- OST: Shin Ringetsu ED
- Released Date: September 24, 2010
- Rating:★★★★★★★★★★
- Download: Mediafire
- Video: Unavailable

An old song in a new album. It is really a savior after hearing a bunch of I've KOTOKO (to tell you the truth, I don't like KOTOKO and Mami Kawada vocal music style that much). This song is really my type: the voice is nice, the music is smooth and emotional in some way.
5. Shikata Akiko - The Forest of Shelanoire- Ar Tonelico 3 Image CD Utau Oka
- Released Date: September 29, 2010
- Rating:★★★★★★★★★★
- Download: Mediafire
- Video: Unavailable
- First impression: Read
I still can catch up with Akiko 's ethnic and complex music but at least have a better feeling toward hers now. Out of 6 songs in her recent album, this is the only one I can listen fully and it does sounds great.
COMPLEMENT FOR AGM JANUARY 2010
Although I always try not to miss any good songs, sometimes mistake is still made. Here is a compulsory complement to AGM January:
1. KOKIA - Within the light- OST: Ar tonelico III
- Released Date: January 27, 2010
- Rating:★★★★★★★★★★
- Download: Mediafire
- Video: Watch Video
- First impression: Read
KOKIA in a soothing game ballad! You can't find a more perfect combination than this. Listen to this song at night, when you feel exhausted, when you need something to heal your suffered soul. And sure it will take you to a tranquil land.
