So, it's this time again. Time for the review post of the whole year. It's hard to say I'm happy or not. Time goes by so fast. I'm getting older and forced to be older. Everything is getting older, even the cute singers we see now. Yeah, everything only has one time, but there are things that will never be worn out by time. They are art and the real emotion, and so now we're here to celebrate the eternity of the anime game songs.

It's a little cold night with light rain here. A good atmosphere to make this review post. I don't know where you live, maybe you're reading this in a snowy night or a muggy day. Well, wherever you are, just keep an open mind while reading this post.

For those who haven't read my previous year-review post, I recommend opening this to know more about my music taste and the statistic of last year which you may need in next part.

Now about the songs I have "hunted" this year, let's look at these numbers (if you don't know about these A, B, C, click here):

As you can see, I really didn't enjoy the AGM much this year. Compared to last year's, it's such a backward step. The only consolation is the PG, but PG is just PG, it just can entertain me a bit in the long time waiting for the real good song comes out. Many new singers appear but very few of them can make song to remember and the old faces only want to cover their already well-known songs or make some new boring songs.

Of course I don't have any right to complain about those singers nor their music. I just feel sad for my love in anime music and for this blog, a "paradise" where I can hide my little self from the world sometimes. Things has changed, man.

Well, but just put that aside, now if you can read to this part, I proudly introduce you the best anime-game songs of 2010 video, the gem of all this whole year listening to 1000+ anime and game songs. It is split into 2 parts and only has 12 songs because I want to keep the quality good. I also want to give all my credit to those who make the wonderful songs and pictures I used to make this vid. This is made for relax and romance purpose, so if you are not in the mood, just watch it in another time. Merry Christmas, everyone! Now we come to the end of 2010. I still have a lot of work to do and the final exam at the beginning of next year but I will try to make the review post for the whole year soon. However, we should finish the left work of this year first. This December hasn't ended yet, so this will be an "active post", the content will be updated until the very end.

My impression with this month's AGM is pretty good. Therefore, I wonder if I should reserve one or more entries in this year's top songs list. Moreover, there are still some expecting stuffs in the coming days.

Update 01/21/2011: Sorry for the delay, anyone! I have just finished my semester exam (in a so~so way). Now is the time for music. SIDELINES:

- The album Bleach Concept Covers is really good. I prefer tracks: 2, 7, 10, 12. They are all already well-known songs, so I won't put them in the mainline. Here is track 7, a cover of the notable Life is like a boat:

- Track 2 of Bleach OP 13 Single (SID): Danro is quite impressive but it seems nothing related to the anime. You can download this song here.

- New single from Lia(Vail) doesn't impress me much. The style is so typical.

NON-AGM:

- Nayuta (new name in this blog, right?) is one of the most promising voices of doujin music. Her voice is sweet, calm and smooth, much like Makino-chan. Her new song: "Structre" from Split Theory is good but not Game OST. You can download here.

Well, AGM November 2010, it would not have existed. There are many reasons opposed to its existence:
- I am very busy helping my older sister's wedding. It maybe our family's biggest event of past ten years.
- My assignments ' deadline draws very near. My last week is all for it.
- I have a cold. For all last week too.
- The AGM is really the least noticeable from my first AGM Month post.

But at last, in a quiet night, a break after many struggling days, I decide to make this post. For what, I don't know, maybe to leave some line of my thought for these memorable days. I won't say about this month's AGM, that line above is enough.

As my sister's leaving, in a short while, I realized the burden on my shoulder is heavier. It's the burden of responsibility for my family, my society and of course for myself. I suddenly had a strong desire to become stronger and wiser. And so, I struggled with all my weight, strove for the most logical thinking and the most useful strength. I work and learn every time I can and never cease to desire for more and more. That's a good way to lead a life, I think. However, even after getting some achievements, I still feel a gap in my mind. It seems I've lost something very important. Not until tonight when I have a break to listen to some peaceful AGM songs did I realize that I can't live without music and romance. Without them the life will become something like a big but dry tree. I think that everyone must have sometime to enjoy themselves not to set themselves loose but to gain more strength and will to go on. It's a simple rule of life, but I've just understood it better recently. So now, if you can read this post, it means you are having some free time. Just enjoy your time with music and everything you like. For me it's this peaceful night with some romantic and tranquil pieces of music...a necessary silence before the next stormy days. My assignments and the final exam are waving for me!

"Ao no Kori" makes me disappointed a bit. In such a dramatic song, I can't find the sweet and calm side in her voice (which we love her most for) much, just the cheerful and girlish side. It seems her style has changed significantly since she switched to Sony Music Entertainment (become more playful). You can see that in all her recent songs. Well, but that new style is really well appropriate for this song, makes this an exuberant, youthful and of course cute song, which is really worth listening again and again. Yet, I still expect to see her other side again.

The recent month's weather is really strange. It started with the chilling and dull days of a typical cold season then suddenly changed into the hot and sunny days and now is the endless rainy days. Dunno what's waiting ahead, I always prepare a pair of sunglasses, a raincoat and a pullover whenever going out. Maybe I will take a showel just in case it snows.(lol, just joking)

The AGM of last month is also strange. Many singles, albums came out and some of my favorite singers released their new work, but there are only 3 songs that reach my AGM standard, which has been gradually lowered for the past two years. This thing only occured once. The God of AGM seems to be rather hard on me recently, doesn't he?

Here is another version of that well-known song. It is so different to the K-ON one that it gives me some new opinion of the song. Listening and comparing these two versions is an interesting thing indeed.

AGM September 2010

The heavy rains, the gloomy sky, the fierce storms. Well, September, it's that time again. My country, especially the Central region, is full of water (of floods and tears). I don't hate rain (I played under rain much in past) but being stuck about two or three hours in a traffic jam after rain is such a pain in the ass. Even looking up at the beautiful violet sunset sky can't compensate for that annoyance.

The best songs of last month come from July and August. Don't be surprised at the time. AGM September means "the best new anime/game songs I find in September" not "the best anime/game songs released in September" and if you still don't understand, let's speak frankly that some singles/albums are not available online until days, weeks or even months after its released day. I always want to make the released month match with the month of the post. That's the reason why I postpone the monthly post until the mid of every month, but sometimes it's still useless as you see.

Well, it's too much for an explanation, but I hope that I will never need to talk about that again. Now, for AGM last month, it's really much better comparing with last month's one. And the main reason is the old-but-awesome music, from Animeja album, hope you're not bored with them. Most of the vids are unavailable due to copyright so I've made a crossfade for this month's AGM. Well, life is really hard, especially for those who always want to live in a peaceful place like me. I have a frustrating time now but as the saying goes, "People always dissatisfies with the present, longingly remember the past and hope for the future but the present will be past and the future will be present.", I think this maybe hard but will be a memorable time in my life. That's the problem of endurance and fighting spirit after all.

Last month is really a busy time for doujin music fans (C78, of course). Even I'm not one and so busy with working but its heat has gone into my top unobstrucsively. The quality of AGM is just average, almost the same as July. The Golden Age of AGM still doesn't come back (or it has gone away forever?). Just look back at last year April and you will know why I keep saying this line again and again. However, it's not good to be in despair for long, let's make a warm welcome for those winners of August 2010, most of which are ballad for laidback time:

July! It is the first time I've experienced working eight hours a day (though it's just an internship program). What I say is: very uncomfortable and lack of freedom, especially for the like of me. However, there are really lots of helpful things that I can learn there. It's a good hardship after all!

For that reason, I don't have much time to wander in AGM world as usual and not until now that I remember to make this monthly post. However, another reason is that the AGM last month is not really noticeable. There are only four songs I can listen and none of them is really excellent, they are all little more or less at average. Another thing that you can easily realize is the invasion of feminine songs over my top song list. That I say, gentleness can spare hardship, right?

June comes with more rain and power cut in my hometown but that can't reduce the heat from World Cup. Yeah, that is a month of the King Sport. I'm in favor of Brazil and Argentina but as you know they all have returned home. I don't know what will happen next, this is a really unpredictable tournament. Maybe only Mr Poulpe Paul knows.
The AGM last month is not as hot as World Cup but still a delicious meal for AGM lovers. It is better and there is a variety in genre. Angel Beats and Girls Dead Monster don't rule my top as they do in other anime music sites but still make recognizable contribution. We should give them a vote of confidence and hope July's AGM will be another musical party.

Well, I begin this post after spending two days in an enigmatic assignment. May seems to be a busy month for me, but it's just the beginning, I still have the whole June ahead with full of tasks to do. This will be a hard summer.

Even though there are more AGM singles released than usual, the AGM last month is average as usual. There are some hit songs coming out there like Lia - My Soul, Your Beat or SID - Rain. Although I personally like the singers but the songs don't suit my taste after all, so I just list their names here. I think my taste is somehow off-stream these days, I have a tendency to enjoy the simple and light type more than the impressive and dramatic one. I think that's because I really want to keep my head light for the time being. Music is for relaxing, after all.

April is the month between rainy season and dry season in my country. The weather is unpredictable. It may rain heavily today and scorch crazily tomorrow. However, I don't hate this weather. It is because the sky and the cloud, they have something very...Aria, which is the most romantic atmosphere I've ever known. Try this series in the sunny noons of the rainy season and you will understand what I mean.

Until now, I am still disappointed about this year's AGM quality. At this time last year, there have already been many impressive songs, which qualify for my final top 20. However, the number of such nice songs this year just can be counted by fingers. At this rate, Anime game music will become nothing more than commercial stuffs, something only can played aloud in the series and soon be forgotten. But the only thing I can do to show my love to AGM now is praising the most promising songs.

KAWAII ! Yeah, I remember that at this time last year I made a post about it. And now, what a coincidence, there's a really Kawaii song by a Kawaii voice in this AGM month's top. You will easily find out it, or you have already known it by that hot chick's image, lol. But that's not all about last month's AGM. The quality of songs is approximately at average whereas there are many different music genres to enjoy: from modern trance to traditional folk, from the light-heated playful one to the serious thoughtful one. I think this lastest remix version sounds better than the original one and moreover, Lia's voice always has "place utility" in this trance genre (listen to Tori no uta and you will understand). Because the song is originally melting and soothing like a lullaby, so when remixed into this dance genre, it becomes really interesting to listen.

Too much flying panties, lol. However if you've never watched that episode, you will think it's a certain decent folk song. For me, I totally enjoy the naughtiness in this traditional song, both in its meaning and in Mina's seem-to-be-innocent voice.

Generally speaking, last month's AGM is much better than some recent months. I have enough songs for a top five and all of them are qualified for a position in my AGM B-C. One more thing that's really right in this beginning of a year that all of these songs are in good/positive mood. It's a good omen, right?

Even in a month in which a game single of Korean diva BoA is released, this seem-to-be-nothing-special song, a second track in a game OST still can get my highest appreciation. Well, maybe that's because this is a paradise for anime/game song after all, so it's reasonable that a song with most anime/game feature gets the top. You will also sense that, the wind of a winter sunset in a countryside road that can calm one's mind easily and remind us of something forgotten from our childhood. Just open your mind.

Anime Game Song 2009 review

Well, it's winter. The weather is cold and so am I. However, this is a suitable time to sit down at my laptop and look back at what AGM - anime game music has brought us this year. Maybe it's too early, there is still a December to wait for a certain great anime/game song, but it's AGM December's affair. Until then, in this great time, why we can't have a review post. The year-end summation always comes before the year-end, isn't it?

Before we comes to the main point, I want to let you know something about my rating. It's really different from what we use to appraise the success of a song. So don't be surprised if you find unpopular songs instead of very famous songs in this review post.

Then, what are exactly the criteria? Well, there's no fixed pattern but a song which I highly appreciate and delightedly bring it here must be:
1. A song from an anime/game, or released in an anime/game OST, or at least the second track in an anime/game single. Why? It's simply because I love AGM, and this is the blog of AGM.
2. A song that have the specific characteristics of anime/game, of which we can't have a specific definition, but they are something that makes a song different from a normal non-agm song, something that we only can find in AGM.
3. A song which have a long lifespan, a meaningful, emotive and special song. It's to reject the anime/game songs which is special but characterless, just for fun, or just for commercial purpose.
4. last but not least, a song that we can listen to at least nearly whole song for many times, so it must not be something that torture our ears.

The 1st and 4th criteria are compulsory, and so a song's rating is high or low depends on the 2nd and 3rd ones. I have a rating system for that in which I classify my favorite AGM songs into 3 classes: A, B, C. For more detail of these classes, You can visit my AGM Library.

If you are not so displeased at my criteria, we can look at some statistic here to know what I collect from this year's AGM:

You can see most of the songs are from anime, and there's a large difference in the quantity of each class: just 2 A, but that's just my rating, the B songs are also very nice. In general, all of them are remainders after rejecting nearly 1000 AGM songs of this year.

You can find all of them along with my comments in my previous posts. Therefore, I think I don't need to list all of them here. I just choose out 20 best songs from them to show here. I won't comment anything about them more, my duty has ended, now I want to listen to others' opinion. Please show me your opinion if you are interested. Another thing, they are arranged by the time, the top ten will come at New Year's post.

AGM November 2009

Well, it's already December now! Time goes by so fast, isn't it? Just a few weeks more and we will move into a new year. That time is also when I celebrate the first anniversary of this site. It's really a special event, so I will also make something special for this blog. In other word, there will be a special post to review the AGM - anime game music of this year and a mini contest voting if the time allows. Although now assignments and presentations is calling me, I will manage enough time to do it best. It's a promise!

Now, the main topic as usual. It seems that I have less ans less choices for songs
to introduce here. The situation is when it's March I had nearly 30 songs to pick out for a top ten, in June it was 10 for 5, and now it's just 3 for 3! That's not due to my fault, I always try not to miss any good, memorable new anime/game songs, but the quality of them is another issue. Another reason maybe that after listening to thousands of anime/game songs, now I can easily realize which song is for commercial use only, and which is for art/emotion. The commercial one will soon be forgotten after the series ends while the other can become eternal, only if its quality is also as great as its purpose. As a result, the standard to come into my AGM collection seems to be higher than before. However, as something that's inevitable, when the quantity goes down, the quality of my monthly top is also goes down. So please don't be disappointed if you don't find good song here. Please be patient, like me, waiting for a new wind of AGM.

One thing that can comforts me somehow is that even there's not many new good songs, but it's not that there's no good new songs to listen. This time is stereopony, Lil'b and May'n and two-thirds of them are Pop Shounen.

Well, that's stereopony. At first time hearing of this name, I imagined it's a male rock band or pop band but it turned out to be a group of pretty girls playing Pop shounen song. Tsukiakari no Michishirube may not be as great as Hitohira no Hanabira, but still enough good to be at first place this month. The PV is really impressive, but Aimi's style is somehow Yui-like, isn't it?!?

I'm always easily moved by song like this: touching, gentle in a silent but haunting background. Though it's just a short piece, but this song shows that May'n is not only good at mysterious pop song but still nice when handling this particular style. So that's easy to understand why she is so popular in anime showbiz.

AGM October 2009

Welcome back to our usual review post. It's sad to say that the pageview in these days has gone so low. Maybe that's our fault, for being lazy at writing new post. However, something good for AGM has happened. It's very accidental and lucky that last night I turned on Animax channel and found out that a brand new musical program has begun.
That show calls Animax Musix: Link to the world, which performs many good anime songs from famous anime singers. The show last night is just the first episode. There are four singers in this show, but the singers whom I consider that they are good anime singers are FictionJunction Yuuka, and May'n (May Nakabayashi). Speaking of reputation, Yuuka must be far better than May, but the things happened in that show was really a contrast. Yuuka's performance was really poor, she sang her famous song Akatsuki no kuruma in such a brassy and harsh voice that if I hadn't watched the instruction before, I would have thought that she was an amateur.(yup, her appearance in this show was also not cool). In another sequence, May'n appeared at the last part of the show with a shiny and sexy appearance. Frankly speaking, I really didn't get interested in her songs much, but I must admit that she was the star of this show. It's really unfair when comparing the appearance without regarding of the age, but I think that a singer should be well prepared before standing on the stage and take more care of her image. All right, this is really nothing, and I hope that I will see Yuuka in a better appearance because anyway, she's one of my favorite AGM singers.

Well, I have talked things off topic too much, haven't I? Now we should go to the main part of this post. October's Anime- Game Music (AGM) is not bad, at least it is better than those in previous months. We also welcome the comeback of two famous AGM singers- Chiaki Ishikawa and Yui Makino in the top. Even there are not very excellent songs we can believe the situation will be brighter in next time. The trend of this month's AGM is ballad and thoughtfulness but there's also an upbeat song from Eclipse girlish band. The video is unavailable due to a copyright claim by some company, however I will upload them to imeem soon.

Download: MediafireI've never played this game but I can guess it relates to space and star from the cover image. You can also feel the vast and dark feeling of space from its night-time opening. But the best part of this song is its melody and emotion: not only open-minded and high-faluting but also thoughtful and profound. Therefore, even when I don't like Itou's voice much, I must admit that it's really a good song and deserves this month's top.

Her voice is really angel-like and her music is made in heaven( a bit exaggerating, lol). However, this lullaby-like song is just so so and her voice in this song is not as sweet as usual. That's the reason I just put this cover song in the second place. I hope she soon regain her divinity, as in her previous great albums.

Autumn is a romance time, isn't it? It's good for memory, romance, love but not for me and my AGM world. To tell you the truth, I haven't listened to AGM much last month due to these reasons:
- The recent months' AGM is really not very good, so my interest of AGM has decreased a bit (or more).
- I've got the flu (maybe H1N1) for about three weeks.
- I'm so busy last month (and even now) with assignments, presentations and etc.
Therefore, of course I can't make a real top 5 AGM right now as usual. I only can list the songs which I think good enough to introduce you. Most of them are sweet and emotive, just like the picture above.

Until now I can say Miyuki is the spotlight of last month's AGM. Her songs twinkle among a bunch of dull songs. There are some noticeable songs in her new album but "Here to stay" is the best. Fantasy, romantic, nostalgic, what more we want in a sweet ballad?

Well, at last I can introduce one of Haruka's songs. She is also a good AGM singer but I know her too late. Frankly speaking, most of her songs in this album are poor. I would be very disappointed about her songs' quality if there weren't this ballad song. A typical ending theme of a feminine game: gentle and peaceful.

Another nice song of Double Flower. This song is pretty listenable and more upbeat than the previous one.

Today is our Independent Day and also the last day in my summer vacation, so I prefer staying at home and writing this post to going out in the noisy crowd. Last month is a good time to release new single and album and there're really some nice, excellent ones from my favorite singers such as: Kimi wo sagashite/last love song (KOKIA), Kizuna (Suara), Best story (Rythem), Mio Amore! (Ayaka Hirahara), Unmeibito (Sachi Tainaka)...However, the amusing thing is that they're all non-AGM, not from any games or anime, so I can't list them here. Nevertheless, I will introduce you some good songs later.

Last month's AGM is just average. I still only can make a top 5 due to the lack of quality. The major tendency of this list is ambient, light and silent songs. It's really not a time to rock.

It's rare that a mysterious and dark song get to this high position, but Chinmoku is really good. Excluding Ceui, there's only Kokia's delicate voice that can make a slim feeling like this. You can feel the cold vapor emitting from it.

This ambient song is already well-known, there's also a version in marble's album but I prefer this Kono Hana Sakuya version. Ayumi's voice is just above average, but it suits the song well and the music background is simple but emotive with some good solo part. Listen to it when you are in laid-back mood.

K-ON again! Yeah, good news for K-ON fans: there're 2 songs from these cute girls in this month's top five though the series has ended. I also know that many people don't like their childish singing style (I am an example at first), but we must agree that their music is really good.

Generally, this month's AGM is not bad. There are some hits from anime like Super Driver or Hotaru No Hikari but as usual, they really can't suit my taste well. This is because the way I rate a song is different from the other. It doesn't base on the hot degree of the singer or anime but on the vocal, the melody, the emotion, and the vitality of that song. Hence, don't be surprised when you can't find popular songs in my top. Okay, now's music time:

1. Watashi no Koi wa Hotch-kiss (My Love is a Stapler) - K-ON OST

This song is a performance of the two K-ON main voices: Yui(Toyosaki Aki) in the first part and Mio (Yoko Hikasa) in the second. Yui's voice is childish, careless and half-asleep like her character and this can annoys strict listeners. I prefer Mio's voice, it sounds more mature and feminine with a little cute "sourness" very Mio. Even if you don't know about K-ON, this song is also good to listen: very youthful and charming.

2. Yotsunoha (Four-Leaf Clover) - Yotsunoha Visual Novel OP

I have known about Chata since listening to Dango Daikazoku one year ago but I have just found another good songs from her in Work Best album. This song is gentle and sweet like her voice with a little melancholic emotion. All of them make out a really memorable song.

Another K-ON song but now with all the band. Still youthful and energetic as ever. You should listen the whole song because the refrain is more listenable and excellent.

4. Hare Nochi Natsu No Ame (Summer Rain After Clear Skies) - Code Geass Lelouch Of The Rebellion Character Song

What impressed me first in this dramatic ballad song was the singer's voice. It's so sweet and hime-like. I don't know the character this song features but every time I listen to it, I just think about Kouhime of Sengoku Rance or Tomoyo-hime of Tsubasa Chronicle.

AGM Show 5: Smile of Youth

Yeah, youth, there is nothing more beautiful than youth. People love youth and they always want to keep their mind young by many ways. One of them is listening to "young music". Consequently, it's not strange that songs about youth and love are so easy to become popular that they are called Pop songs.

Another way to keep your mind young is smiling. It's simple but very effective method because when you smile (honestly), that means you can overcome any problem in your life. So, "let's smile more", that's an important advice when you come to a doctor.

So, there is really a relation between music, smile, and youth. But what will happen when they are combined into one? In this fifth show, you will see that combination. I will introduce you some upbeat Pop songs form anime. They are really "young" song so you don't need to understand the lyrics to feel the youth in them. And because the topic is very clear so I think there is no much things to say about them. Just listen, smile and enjoy youth!

Let's start with this light pop song. Mikuni has many songs similar to this song, but I think this is the "youngest" one: innocent and playful.

Yeah, a very catchy and listenable song. Even when you don't understand all the lyrics, you can guess what this song says easily.

4. Rottara Rottara - Buono (Shugo Chara ED5)

This is my Buono favorite songs. It starts in a light-hearted way and then turns into a very nice chorus. A song to inspire spirit!

5. Egao no Riyuu - meg rock (Asu no Yoichi OP)

Another exhilarating song with more rock!

6.Sunny side hill - Round Table feat. Nino (Uninhabited Planet Survive ED)

It's Nino in an upbeat and fast tempo song. Her cuteness and young spirit are the things make this song memorable.

Well, that's all. Have you felt the young spirit and smile from these songs? I hope that those songs can help your mind relaxing, happy and younger. Although they are not the main part of AGM wotld, I often listen to them when I feel bored and I always respect them because they are something that the artists have given their youth, their smile into them. So now AGM Song Book is coming back. Here you can find information and Vietnamese translations of my favorite AGM songs. We already have total 10 pages in this book and I always want to make it longer and longer but my schedule table doesn't allow it. Therefore, I will use this summertime to increase the number of page in this book a bit. Hope you like it! :)

This page belongs to a light, nostalgic ballad from the series Cashern Sins: Reason performed by Kana. Perhaps this is the newest song in my AGM Book until now. It was just released at the end of last year but it soon got a high rank in my chart since the first time I listened to it. At first, I intended to put it in my next show for Nostalgic songs but then realized that it must be here. This song has something different from the others, maybe that's because the ambiance it brings forth. When closing my eyes and listening to this song from beginning, I can imagine a silent, fresh and cold dawn, with little sunshine and the dew drops sleeping on the leaves. And when the singing starts, I can't do anything else but letting my mind drift swiftly along with the stream of passionate and gentle melody.

There is little information about this song: it was used as first ending theme of anime Cashern Sins and the single was released at November 26, 2008. So, if you know more about this artist and this single, please tell me.

Last month is also not a month for excellent songs. Even though there are some songs that have become very popular like those of Scandal S or Sambomaster, I really can't put them in the playlist and it's sad to say that Suara's new single also let me down. So, after all, the top of this month turns out to be a cover anime song of HIMEKA from Chrono Crusade. It seems that my taste has melted down 'cause most of the other songs are ballad. Okay, now's this month's top 5 arrival in my AGM World:

The original version of this song of Saeko Chiba is already good, but this song is also addictive in another way. It's an awesome performance of HIMEKA's voice when the instrumental background is trivial. Her emotive voice suits this song amazingly and beautifully. So, no surprise when she became the winner of Anime Song Grand Prix with this song.

2. Manazashi (Gaze) - Higurashi no naku koro ni rei ED
Artist: anNina
Release Date: June 24, 2009

A slow, sad and profound ballad that can touch one's heart.

3. Sweet Sweet Time - Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka OP Single
Artist: Hashimoto Miyuki
Release Date: October 22, 2008

I sometimes surprise that the second track or B-side of many Anime OSTs is much better than the main one(Glass no Hana, for example). And this song is also in that case. A sweet and emotive song.

4. Music of Soul - Ragnarok Online Image Song Single
Artist: Sena
Release Date: June 3, 2009

This song starts very well but then it turns into an usual anime ballad.

5. Moon Passport - Basquash OP Single
Artist: Tomatsu Haruka & Nakajima Megumi & Hayami Saori

Another example for "track 2" phenomenon, this song is good at some part but it's just so-so overall.

It's not easy to make a music blog nowadays. I can't make or edit playlist from Imeem and the videos embed from Youtube were usually removed. That's why you will see that my playlist is not updated recently though I really want to do that.

Additionally, last month is generally not a month of Anime/Game music. The number of AGM singles and CD released is still normal but the problem is the lack of excellent song. You can see this thing through the silence in many other AGM music blogs.

Therefore, even when this monthly post doesn't only introduce new songs in the recent month, it's still hard to find enough 10 songs, so I just make a Top 5 to keep the quality high. You can also see some change in my music taste now, it tends to move towards the mainstream pop.

AGM TOP FIVE MAY 2009

1. Don't say "LAZY" - K-ON! ED

Is it somehow outdated to talk about this song now? Well, it was already very famous far before its release in April. However, I wasn't moved at first and it's just got into my playlist recently due to some change in my taste. Maybe when you are so tired with the tense work, you need some thing explosive and stimulating. This song is really rocking and catchy. But if you are an anti-cheering girl song listener and never watched K-ON!, you must be looser to enjoy it.

2. USO (Lie)- Fullmetal Alchelmist Brotherhood ED

Released Date: April 29, 2009

A model Pop Shounen. I don't approve of the way it ends at the chorus, but it can be spared by many other good points. Once you get acquainted with the music, you will hear it play repeatedly in your head.

3. Falling down - Eden of the East OP
Artist: Oasis
Released Date: May 27, 2009

Nothing much to say about a song that has reached #10 in UK chart. It's really a strange and stylish song, with the heavily compressed drum-rhythm and the psychedelic feeling.

4. Julius - Sora wo Kakeru Shoujo
Artist: Ceui
Released Date: May 13, 2009

Ceui brings us 4 new songs in this month, and in my opinion this windy ballad is the best. Her music style hasn't changed at all, it may make some boredom, but anyway this song is purely relaxing and pleasure to hear.

5. Again - Fullmetal Alchelmist Brotherhood OP
Artist: YUI
Released Date: June 3rd, 2009

Yui's song is always welcomed by many ones. This song is also nice and energetic, with a good guitar playing, but as many other songs from hers, it must take a time to get it in your head.

SHORT REVIEW:

Parallel Hearts - OP: One of the most wanted single of the month, and it's worth. Yuki Kajiura quality, that's enough.
Binkan no Fuukei (Sensitive Scenery): serenity, smooth, mellow, peaceful and...yeah, a great song of Ceui.
Asu he - Sora iro no Tegami (Tomorrow - A Sky-Blue Letter): Suara's new single doesn't impress me much. I think she's best at profound ballads, like this one.
Alone: Hitomi's voice in this very light, soothing song seem to be more girlful than her other songs (or it's just my feeling?). The gentle guitar riff throughout the song really calm me.
Aitaiyo (I want to meet you): A typical ballad of Sachi Tainaka. Her special voice is still the most remarkable point.
Keruto no Umi de (In Celtic sea): Speaking of Amuri character songs, we just think of brilliant ones of Makino-san but there's also another nice song in the third volume: this mellow, calm and fantasy ballad vocal by Momoko Saitou, Makino-san and Michiru Aizawa. It's really one of my favorite kinds of AGM!
Style - ED2: Yeah, I have mistaken to ignore this one, just enjoy this groovy light pop song.
Koi Kogarete Mita Yume (The dream which saw longing for love) - ED: Such a ballad song. Just calm down and listen to this profound ballad.
Karma - OP: Kokia and New Age in a darkly-tuned, emotive song. It may sound odd at first but really worth-listening.
Niji (Rainbow): Another song from Kobukuro.
Summer Rain - OP: Smooth background. Pretty listenable.
Future Stream - OP: A well tuned pop song, enough for a debut single.
Le ciel bleu (Blue Sky): Really a soothing song, from vocal to melody.
September 1st: Just as the title of the single (Style), I can see some stylish in this song.
Wasurenaide (Don't forget) - ED2: An average ballad from Suara.
Oblivious - ED: Feel bored with ballad? Let's try this Yuki Kajiura song: a combination of epic and NewAge.
Mirai no Monogatari (The story of future) - OP: I just wonder why there are many good songs in visual novel game, such as this one.
Cherry: Very relaxing and peaceful ballad.
Shunkan Spline (Instantaneous Spline) - OP: A listenable pop song.
Aishiteru (Love Story) - ED: Slow and gentle ballad for a silent night.
Shiawase no Iro (Color of Happiness) - ED: A light and relaxing song with some bagpipes playing.
Glass no Hana (Glass Flower): Mizuki-san again in a light and very emotive ballad song. I also love the saxophone playing starting from 2:38.
Namida no Kakera (The fragments of tear) - ED: Very peaceful ballad song, listen to it when you need some calmness.
Papiliones - OP: Though the opening part is somehow boring, the remaining one is quite amazing, especially the excellent instrumental playing. You can also find some nice instrumental songs in this game's soundtrack, as Ketsui, Daichi no Uta, Danshou...
Aoi Kasa (Blue Umbrella): A beautiful ballad song with a very nice, emotive chorus.
Nanayaduki (Seven Moon Nights): Another ambient ballad.
Planetarium: Beside the stylish, mysterious pop songs, Suga Shikao also has many quiet, calm ballad songs, such as this one.
White Album: A light and refreshing song, should be played in a quiet rainy season's twilight.
Ai no Zuellni (Zuellni of Love) - ED2: Another great epic song from Chrome Shelled! I just upload the Leerin Marfes version, though the two other vers are also good.
Evergreen - ED: A very nice, emotive song. Good vocal!
Paranoia: We can feel the humid wind from her songs, like this one. Very smooth song.
Blue moon: An ambient song. Fairly relaxing.
Mawari Meguru (Rotation around) - ED: Nice ambient song.

MOU ICHIDO KIMI NI AITAI

April is the month of wind (at least in my country). The wind from the sea brings many clouds, light early rains, and also remembrances.

I love wind. Winds always make me calm down, relaxing, sometimes remind me of many beautiful memories. So, I'm very delighted to find anime songs which have windy-feeling. There're many kinds of wind in anime song: breeze in a silent night, peaceful wind in sunset, cool wind in a lazy noon... This time I will bring you the wind of remembrance, a nostalgic wind.

Mou Ichido Kimi ni Aitai (I want to see you again) is the second track of Mikuni Shimokawa 's twelfth single, which was released at August 18, 2005. The song was used as ending theme of TV anime Full Metal Panic!: The Second Raid.

Mikuni-san is really popular in anime music world. Many song form hers are in my all time favorite songs, but I love this one best. The music is very peaceful and pleasant to hear, the emotion is profound and nostalgic, and the lyrics is also touching. Really a worth-listening song!

First of all, I must say that this is the last of all, I won't do this kind of post anymore. To tell you the truth, I really don't have time to breath out with all my homework and housework! So, this is my farewell post!

Shocked, huh? ^^Just kidding! My love on AGM is still bigger than my huge pile of exercises and assignments. However, there's some truth in that sudden declaration, I won't make an AGM Tracker post at every Friday. Instead,I will make a monthly tracker, but that doesn't mean there will be only a post by the end of every month. I will update that post at anytime I find a nice new song (very randomly). In general, there'll be some changes and you will know more about it next month.

This week is so so. I still find some really nice songs, but it's just the result of checking more songs than usual. In other words, my luck ratio to find a good song is not very high ( or I've become more fastidious, haven't I?)

This week could have been a very silent week. However, at last minute, Shugo Chara Character Song Album saved the day. The Album has 10 tracks, but I just can pick out 4 from them to introduce in this post. They are really good songs, but for the time of listening is not enough, they are all in C-rank. A good AGM song is more difficult to find in these days: I pay much time and luck to find one that I never listen to. Therefore, there will be some weeks that this tracker doesn't work. First, I must say that this is not a post to review latest songs, it just a post in which I list the latest noticeable anime songs in my AGM world. I won't talk much about song due to my poor music knowledge and vocabulary.

We have 5 noticeable songs in this week, most of them are light and thoghtful songs. I will list them in order of my ranking.

1. Trust you - Yuna Ito

I have known this song for one month but the single is just officially released in this week. It is really a beautiful ballad sung by a beautiful female voice. Announcement: Some changes from March 2009

AGM Show 4: Let's Rock!

If you read this blog usually, you can realize that I hardly talked about Rock. It's because I am not a rock-lover or someone who can listen to rock music everyday. Some anime rock songs that many people talked good about, like "What's up people" or "Shut up and explode", kicked me out at first time listening. This kind of music doesn't suit my taste and they made me headache indeed. The music I can like must be more relaxing or able to give the listener something to like it.

Though I don't like rock much, there're still some rock songs from anime that can charm me. They are really nice songs, and they can make a fastidious listener like me want to listen to them again and again. I will introduce you all of them in this fourth show. Just enjoy as much as you can, provided it don't give you a headache.

1. Rewrite - Asian Kungfu (Full Metal Alchelmist OP 4)

Let's start with this exciting song. The chorus is really good and there're some funny rap inside it. A song to burn up atmosphere!

2. Seishun Kyousoukyoku - Sambomaster (Naruto OP 4)

Just like the meaning of title: "The Rhapsody of youth", this song easily drives us crazy. It impresses me right at the first bass sounds. I think it's the best OP of Naruto series.

3. Rolling Star - YUI (Bleach OP 5)

Yui is really a stylish singer, her voice is special and angel-like. This rock song is one of her most successful songs until now.

4. Alumina - Nightmare (Deathnote ED 1)

This kind of rock is different from the others. It has something ballad, emotive and thoughtful, yet the PV is funny.

5. Bokutachi no yukue - Hitomi Takahashi (Gundam Seed destiny OP 3)

This very famous song has made Hitomi successful at her early singing career. The song is tuned in a dark way and sung by her powerful voice. Another awesome female rock song. Girl really can rock, right?

6. Hakanaku mo Towa no Kanashi - UverWorld (Gundam 00 S2 OP)

It is quite a new song, just released last year. The UverWorld band is always cool, and so is their song.

7. Shissou - Last Alliance (Ouran High School Host Club ED 1)

This song is very upbeat and in fast tempo. It has a very catchy and addicting melody. You will like it after listening 2 or 3 times.

So that's my anime rock song collection, do you think it's nice? I hope this post can satisfy the rock-lovers a bit and can change mind of anti-rock music people a little. Rock music is usually for the young, especially the rebels, who want to affirm their individual, or make themselves stand out from the crowd. However, rock music is also for every people when they think life is boring and when they reall need something rock!

Misty's song is an insert song of the popular anime Pokemon. It is the eleventh track of Pokemon 2.B.A. Master ~ Pokemon - the anime's first soundtrack released at 29 June, 1999. The song is known as a character's song (by Misy or Kasumi). In fact, it's sung by popular M2M band.

I think this song are very well appropriate for the relation between Misty and Ash.We don't know what will happen, maybe they will never see each other again. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful love, though it's just a silent one. One more thing, it's an English song, so you can listen it easily.

Hey guys, are you satisfied with the recent show? Is it enough epic? If you want more, here it is. Now I will introduce another great epic song: Kimi wa boku ni niteiru of See-Saw band, which includes 2 talented people: composer Yuri Kajiura and vocalist Ishikawa Chiaki. If you have followed the recent posts carefully, you will find these names not strange at all.

Kimi wa boku ni niteiru (You resemble me) is the fourth ending theme song of series Gundam Seed Destiny. The single was released at August 3, 2005 and it peaked at #4 in Oricon weekly chart. More than 156,000 copies of this song have been sold out.

AGM Show 3: It's Epic Time

Welcome to the third AGM show, which focuses on Epic songs. Syaoran is so cool, isn't he? Now is the time for battles, heroes, tears and sorrows. Let's enjoy! (am I so warlike? lol).

Well, just laugh if you can because I must warn you that this is not a happy show. As I said before, Epic songs are not songs for relaxation or enjoyment. They are songs that need the listener a particular mood. In fact, they are best listened inside the anime because they are created for specific scenes in the series.

Therefore, I know that I shouldn't put all these fastidious songs in a post because it will make you tired soon. We should enjoy them slowly and carefully just like putting your foot on the string step by step.

1. Is it so serious? Well, I shouldn't give so many warnings, should I? We should start the show now with an exciting song: BLAZE from Kinya Kotani:

Yeah, I think this song is heroic enough to warm up the Epic atmosphere. It has been introduced once in the Pop Shounen poll as Tsubasa Chronicle Reservoir 's first opening theme, but it's also a nice Epic song, so I put it here. I think this song has a good tune and Kinya's voice is really cool. Everytime I listened this song, an image of Syaoran holding the flaming sword with a very decisive glint appears in my mind. That is such an imposing pose, one of reasons that makes me love the series so much.

2. Now, let keep this Epic atmosphere burning with the OP of Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto: Kouya Ruten of whom you have known from the lastest post: FictionJunction YUUKA:

As far as I know, Yuuka is the most well-known of the singers of FictionJunction project. She has cooperated very well with Yuri Kajiura to give us many nice songs. I will talk about her more later. About this song, I think it is a good succesion of the first song, it is also heroic and exciting. Do you think so?

3. The two songs above are heroic, but they are not sad songs. If you want to feel the EPIC completely, you must also experience the sadness. Thus, I will introduce you Fuhen, a more incisive song from the very epic series Samurai 7 :

This ending theme song is great, isn't it? Without understanding the meaning of the lyrics, we still feel the sadness and the sorrow within it because war is not only hero and battle, but also losses and heroic death. If you have watched this series, you will understand this thing more.

4. After listening such sad song, you shouldn't listen another sad song or it will make you tired. This song can help relax somehow though it's also an epic song: Prototype, given us by talented Ishikawa Chiaki.

This song is the ending of Gundam 00 season 2. It is strange somehow, isn't it? That's because it's also a New-age song, so there're some special effects within. I think this song is above good. Ishikawa Chiaki is a talented singer; her voice is great and epic. After becoming a solo artist, she still gives us many good songs just like this. I will talk more about her in another post.

5. Now we return with Yuuka-san, in another Gundam song: Honoo no Tobira

This very popular song is an insert song of the anime "Moblile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny". It's the song that made Yuuka become the first seiyuu in history having a song that hit #1 in Oricon daily chart. I like the introduction of the song most, it's really awesome and catchy!

6. Code Geass is another science fictional anime. It is a story around heroes Lelouch. I haven't watched this series, but I can feel the epic sense from Stories, an insert song of the series.

Sound like a hymm, doesn't it? I think many of you don't like this gospel-type one, but Hitomi's song is really smooth, dramatic, and worth-listening.

7. Well, now is the end of this show. I hope you are not bored with many of serious songs. In fact, no one likes wars, which will bring sadness and sorrow. We are peace-lovers, aren't we? But, there will be some time in the future that you must face the problems in life. We can't just face-down lie and cry. Be stronger and overcome them with strong determination(see Syaoran^^). Try to turn sadness into kindness, like the title of this third Naruto opening song, given to us by Little by little band: Kanashimi wo yasashisa ni:

I think this excting and catchy song is good to end this serious show.Hope you get some strength from Naruto! I think that's enough for this Epic time, sayonara!

AKATSUKI NO KURUMA

Maybe in the future, you will ask me what AGM Song Book is for, why I make a whole post for just a song, and if it is a waste of time and effort, I will answer: "No, I don't think it's a waste", and I have reason myself to invest much in them. It's a representation for my respect, my admiration and my love to the songs and the artists.

Then, you can ask another question:"So, what's the others, aren't they worth respecting?". "No", I will reply, "All the songs I put in this blog are my favorite songs. They are all nice songs (as I think), but there're some songs which suit my taste more than other, or are associated with one or my memories, and I put them in AGM Song Book."

That's all my purpose when making this section. Maybe my taste is different from yours, and you will find these songs nothing. Now, we go to the main point. I've talked about Epic songs in previous post, so now I will introduce you one of my favorite Epic songs: Akatsuki no kuruma (Wheels of Destiny).

Akatsuki no Kuruma"is the third single of FictionJunction YUUKA, a singer who sang many Epic songs(especially for Gundam series). The music was composed by great Yuri Kajiura. It was released on September 22, 2004. It is an insert song of the well-known anime Gundam SEED.

Originally, this song was released on "SUIT CD vol.4 Miguel Ayman x Nicol Amarfi". Due the song's popularity and the fact that September 2004 was Gundam SEED's one-year anniversary, it was later released as a single, which sold over 19,481 copies in the first week,at first obtaining the twelfth place on the Oricon charts, which later rose to the tenth.

AGM Genre 3: Epic song

One of favourite topics of mangakas is wars, heroes, and epics. Perhaps only in the war, when the depression and hatred, the losses and the sorrow, envelope all living beings, the most sincere emotion can be exposed, the character of man can grow up, and that's the purpose of anime series (I guess that).

If you are an otaku, you must know the classic series of war and epic, such as: Evangelion, X1999 and especially the great Gundam empire. I'm not an anime fan, and I haven't watched anime much, so I can't list many titles here, but I'm sure that music has contributed a very important part in the success of Epic anime. People who have watched a Gundam series must remember a melody, and that great OP of Evangelion, which still be honoured these days, is a clear proof for importance of Epic music.

Epic songs are the songs that express the sadness in war, the heroic feeling, and used for embellishing the Epic series. Most of them are sad songs, some express the hero's willing. We can say they are serious songs, so you must be careful before listening to an epic song or turning the volume to maximum because it may not fit the atmosphere and your mood. Another warning is that you shouldn't listen them too much, or it may affect your mood negatively and sometimes cause a headache.

We will introduce epic songs in next show. While waiting, perhaps you should learn the "Epic feeling" through these 2 instrumental songs: Break the sword of justice(TCR) and Sadame (X-1999). Hope you like it!

Pop Shoujo Poll Result

CATCH YOU CATCH ME, AND CATCH...PRIZE

Just like I have compared before, a Pop shoujo song is like a girl, so this poll is like a contest of beauty, and kawaii. Finally, after two weeks's voting, now we have the result - the winning girl.

As you can see the title and the spoiler, the winner can't be any other than Catch you catch me. It's easy to understand, 'cause most of voters are Vietnamese and CCS Sakura is very well-known there. However, this is really a nice song and really worthy of the first prize. The innocent emotions, the jubilant melody, and the very lovely singing voice, all of them have made a memorable song, and I think we will remember this song for years as well as the series.

Sadly, this poll is not as exciting as the previous poll. There're just 7 voters, and in fact, the competition has ended at the first week. It seems that this competition is not as interesting as I thought, or you don't know that voting is the best expresion of support?

However, I really don't care that much. The AGM Award will go on, but halt now. It will come again soon. I will introduce songs more carefully before make a new poll, so that you will not be confused in choosing. If you have different ideas, please post comment here.

AGM Song Book 5: Yui Makino - Symphony

Yeah, now is the Buffalo's Year. We have spent 5 days playing cards, visiting and wishing our acquaintances a happy new year. We still have 2 days of weekend before returning to work, but the atmosphere of Tet has all gone out. However, I wish all of you a happy new year! Kung Hei Fat Choi!

I am wondering which song I should choose to introduce you at the beginning of this year. It must be happy song, of course, 'cause people think a happy beginning will bring them a happy year. Nevertheless, most of my favorite happy songs are Pop Shounen and Pop Shoujo and they have been introduced. Therefore, after thinking for a while, I decide to introduce you a sweet, romantic song - a very nice love song, 'cause spring is season of love and youth, right? This freaking song was sung by the very lovely Yui Makino, whom I have talk something about at the 2nd Show .

Symphony is the intro theme of series ARIA the ANIMATION, and was included in Yui Makino's first album Tenkyuu no Ongaku, which was released at December 6, 2006. For every respect, this was a very admirable song, which have made Makino-san the idol of many people.

2009 AGM Award Announcement

"Oh, what is this totally strange award?", you may say that. Yeah, it's just an award myself created for the anime songs I have listened last year.

2008 is a year that I started falling in love with anime/game songs. I have hunted for nice songs at many forums, and download them by any means. Some songs I love it by watching its anime, the others through a strict contest(myself, of course).

So, from now, in my musical library, there're more than 600 AGM songs (don't count the instrumental). But in fact, I have listened for more than 1000 songs(I have said that before). One thing I don't sattisfy is that there're many songs that I can't stand for twice (more than half). Now, after one year of the circle: hunting - downloading - listening - classifying, I find that there're just 300 songs that can be listened and the others are better in recycle bin.

So, it is an exciting year. Now, let's go to the main part. The AGM award is a musical award that created for the best AGM songs.
There are many articles to honoured, I will talk about them know.

AGM Song Book 4: Rythem - Sakura Uta

SAKURA UTA - RYTHEM

Lunar New Year is coming so near. The flowers blossom everywhere. In Japan, it's time for the cherry blossom, which we can call it by a more popular name: "Sakura". Yeah, Sakura, that's really a beautiful name for a flower (or just because I love that anime so much).

In my hometown, we can enjoy the beauty of Sakura in nowhere but the high mountain (Dalat, example?). Maybe in future, I will go to Japan to know what's Sakura Festival and sit under a real Sakura tree and watch a rain of sakura petals floating in the air... Is it romantic? It's impossible now, but we can somehow enjoy Sakura's beauty thanks to this song: Sakura Uta of Rythem.

Sakura Uta is Rythem's eleventh single. The single was released on February 28, 2007l. It also was used as the ending theme for the anime series Deltora Quest. This single peaked at the #42 spot in the Oricon weekly charts.

AGM Show 2: All these Kawaii songs

Now, I am wondering if it is okay to introduce lots of exciting, joyful, girlful songs in a while. Maybe that makes people tired and confused. And from the last poll, I receive some complaint that I gave much priority to "Aozora no namida" and "No regret" when making a whole post for each of them. Therefore, now I will talk about all candidates.Please choose the part by clicking on the below links.

PART 1

Let's begin with this jubilant pop song - Groovin' Magic - Gunbuster OP2 given to us by Round table band and vocalist Nino.

This song can be described in one word:"joyful".Nino has a cute, cool voice. Everytime I hear her voice, I imagine that it's Chii singing or maybe that's a kind of obsession when listening to Let me be with you (Chobits OP) so much. Let's take a look at it:

Isn't it a great OP? I am never get tired of it.
Now we leave Nino there and enjoy another cute songs: Catch you catch me. This famous song is the 1st OP of Cardcaptor Sakura:

Gumi's voice appropriates very well with Sakura's character, I find in her voice something innocence, playfulness. Really a nice OP!

After 3 great song, we can realize one things. Pop shoujo song usually has something we call the "cute highlight" that affect very much to that song and is something that we remember most after listening to that song. In Let me be with you, that's her repititive word:"Yeah" through that song. In catch you catch me, it's the statement at the end of Chorus:"ma - yo - wa - na - i ". We will see something like that in next songs.

Let's take a rest, I won't give it all in a while.

PART 2

Okay, let's continue with Dark Side Ni Tsuitekite, a slow, light, oldstyle pop song, included in Welcome to NHK! ED2 single.

The song is given to us by the pleasant, sweet vocal of Makino. Unlike the other Pop Shoujo songs, this song is not very exciting and noisy. Its steady and old style sonority make me relaxed and melted down. Makino's voice within the chorus is so sweet and lovely. In my way of speaking, it's the cute highlight of this song.

Be your girl is something different, it's a typical new pop song. I am kinda surprising when knowing that's the ending of Elfen Lied, 'cause its opening is super serious. Chieko Kawabe version is much better than other versions and the chorus is somewhat irresistibly loveable.

Chieko's a charming lady, isn't she? And now, Chobits again. This anime's OST is really among the best. There're many nice songs, sad and happy. It's among the best happy one:

This song is not very exciting, it's a light pop song. Just like its name - Raison d'etre, the melody is somehow French and life-enjoyable. Rie Tanaka did well, her voice is unaffected and relaxed. Unexplainably, everytime this song is played, an image of Chii walking and smiling in the bright morning's sunlight appear in my head. Maybe that's because I love Chii so much?

Let's halt here. We should enjoy the beauty progressively.

PART 3

So, here is the last part. Let's enjoy Mika Kikuchi's My star:

This exciting and joyful song is also the 4th ED of Capeta series. In fact, I didn't know much about Mika until one day I heard this song and quickly fell in love with her voice. Such a girlful and lovely voice! I can say her singing voice is the cute highlight of this song. Just close your eyes and feel the gentleness, the sweetness, and the gracefulness in her singing, you will love it for sure. Or you can listen to another song from her - the Ending theme of Mai-Otome series - Otome wa DO MY BEST deshou:

This's really a hilarious and middle school girl song, a typical Pop Shoujo. I think both Mika Kikuchi and Ami Koshimizu did well in this remarkably cute ending theme.

And now we end this show with a very famous and merry song - Hirano Aya God knows... (Insert song of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya):

There have been many people talking about this song, so I just talk in brief here. This song shows we how talented and capable Hirano Aya-san is. Her dancing, her singing...everything goes great, but the crazy guitar solo part is the greatest . I can understand why this song become the favourite song of many people. It really rocks!

How do you feel after watching this whole show? I think some will say these're just for the teenage merry girls. Maybe they're right, or maybe that's a conservative opinion. Anyhow, Pop Shoujo is really the beauty and the charm of anime music. If we can enjoy the innocent beauty of a girl, why can't we enjoy these kawaii songs at ease? Just love it if you can!

AGM Genre 2: Pop Shoujo

After the Pop Shounen Contest ended, now we come to next artice: Pop-Shoujo. It's also a genre myself thinking out. If you was after the previous posts carefully, you can somehow guess out the feature of this genre.

Pop Shoujo is somewhat opposite to Pop Shounen. Although both are exciting, energetic, but when Pop Shounen focuses on expressing the willing, the strengh to overcome anything and a little epic(little serious, isn't it?), Pop Shoujo tends to express the happiness, skittishness, peacefulness and sometimes innocence. We can compare Pop Shounen and Pop Shoujo with an active boy and an unaffected girl.

Pop Shoujo songs is usually happy, girlful and sung by the cute-vocal female singers.That's the reason why the boys and the serious ones don't like them much. In fact, we can only be able to enjoy the beauty and cuteness of these songs completely if we open our minds.

AGM Show 1: Happy new Spring

HAPPY NEW SPRING

Spring comes. In Vietnam, the Lunar New Year, which we called "Tet", still doesn't come, but in such day, the atmosphere is very great. Everyone is eager to buy new clothes and prepare for the biggest festival. The weather is cold, especially in the morning and night, but the eagerness and excitement everywhere can compensate for it.

In such days, staying in bed and listening to some nice happy songs is really great. So this is the music show for the spring.

We begin with a nice, well tune songs, Four Seasons, the performance of the talented singer Namie Amuro.
