AGM June 2010

June comes with more rain and power cut in my hometown but that can't reduce the heat from World Cup. Yeah, that is a month of the King Sport. I'm in favor of Brazil and Argentina but as you know they all have returned home. I don't know what will happen next, this is a really unpredictable tournament. Maybe only Mr Poulpe Paul knows.
The AGM last month is not as hot as World Cup but still a delicious meal for AGM lovers. It is better and there is a variety in genre. Angel Beats and Girls Dead Monster don't rule my top as they do in other anime music sites but still make recognizable contribution. We should give them a vote of confidence and hope July's AGM will be another musical party.

This Western-style ballad is truly what we call "music of soul". Everything is gentle and profound, from the singing voice to the music. It opens our mind and calms our nerves slowly just like a lullaby of a windy night. It somehow recalls "My heart will goes on" though it needs more dramatic sense to be that great. Anyway, this song is highly recommended for everyone, not only AGM lovers.

2. Megumi Nakajima - Watashi ni Dekiru Koto

This song is well known for long but its full version has just been released recently. It is sad and emotive, most appropriate for a silent night(yes, another song for night). Another contribution of Kobato. CLAMP's anime music is always good after all.

This version is very far different from the origin Aria Di Mezzo Carattere. However, it is obviously the best song of Chill SQ album.

It's been a while since a good Pop Shounen like this comes out. It still can't match Again and Uso, but is definitely one of the best around this time.

This Angel Beats song is mainly based on the singer voice. It maybe good to make the emotion more intense and expressive but isn't it annoying in other way? I still don't know now, just let the time answer.

AGM BONUS

Well, that's truly an AGM but another version of Brave song. This Girls dead monster version gives more immense feeling and makes this song more memorable. I will have much pity on this song if it doesn't become a hit.
